I'm a Geek and I know it…

So as a job hunter you should keep record of the jobs you apply for and all the demographics that go with it. I started hunting November 1, 2019 and have been keeping a log of all my contacts so here’s a peek at the types of jobs I’ve applied for and still have pending.

Care Coordination & Personal Care Assistance Agency Lists

While the State of Alaska now has a fancy new dynamic tool to find providers it wasn’t always like that. In fact the Non-Certified Providers, Care Coordination and PCA lists were generated for posting to the website monthly by me. Below are how I built the lists:

In 1 minute, describe who you are?

Who am I? A snippet about me…

I am a geek. I love tech. I have other things I love as well but I love working with programming languages and have since I was young.  I love to help others by teaching what I know and sharing the knowledge I have gained. I have a double bachelors and associates in business but while I enjoyed all the business classes I LOVED the geeky ones best. The SQL class, Perl, JavaScript, Web Development and Visual Basic were the ones I excelled at. I realize I missed my geeky calling for schooling but have worked at learning new things and updating my skills on my own since then. I have dabbled for my own sake in HTML5 and CSS3 along with many flavors of JavaScript and I want to combine my love of tech with your company’s needs.

I am not afraid to roll up my sleeve and get into the guts of a computer or to try to troubleshoot a problem with hardware or software. I also know where my knowledge limits are and am not afraid of researching information to learn more or to ask for help when needed. I want to learn and grow into a career helping your company become more efficient.

XML Resume

I plan to edit and add to this XML resume in the coming days and weeks, for now this is a nice skeleton hand developed and coded.

Please Perform the Following Miracle

I am generally known as a “Miracle Worker” who can get insane amounts of tasks completed. As a joke I was left with a hand drawn version of this on my desk one day and so decided to turn it into a sheet of 4 that I could print. I left them on the corner of my desk and would find notes from co-workers, supervisors and other managers from time to time which would always make me smile!
